And Then It Was Orange

It used to be blue.  How could that change?  Five decades of blue love of all shades.  But slowly over the last year ... orange has become my favorite color.

What's next?  Snakes?  Spiders?  Well, orange was never like snakes and spiders.  But just when you think you know yourself ....

The above WIP just happens to fit nicely with today's edition of Color Girl Quilts' Instagram challenge called My Creative 2016 going on through December 14th.

These blocks are the latest step in the Berry Cross quilt-along that's been happening over at the Inquiring Quilter blog.  Jennifer writes very clear instructions for every step.

And it's a two-fer because it's Day 2 of the 31 Day Blog Writing Challenge currently ongoing. Find out more by clicking the link.

Link partying today with Sarah at Confessions of a Fabric AddictFort Worth Fabric Studio, Off the Wall Friday, and Finished or Not Friday.  Yup, all four of them, because today I'm feeling greedy like that, and these days it's all about the feelz!

Have a great weekend, and thank you for reading my blog!

Kimberly

  1. You made to the second day!

I do feel bad for orange. It really doesn't get enough love and respect.
